THE BAND CAMINO

Update from Anna

Venue: The Rave Ballroom

The Taking Shape tour rode through their North American leg this summer. The Band CAMINO dropped in at the iconic Rave Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This iconic trio lit up the room with high energy stage presence and all the classics, and newer work, on their setlist. Filling this room of the lovers of indie rock and pop combined, The Band CAMINO welcomed Knox as their opener for this tour. Kicking off their set with one of their newest releases, Nostalgia, had the crowd roaring. Lead singer and guitarist, Jeffery Jordan, takes precaution to soak up the energy of the crowd with every moment. With outstretched arms he, and his bandmates Spencer Stewart and Garrison Burgess, perform each song with thought and care for those fans. Their fun yet emotional music lets their appreciation for their fans shine through. Like any of the great indie rock bands, they love to create eye-catching imagery while still paying homage to their early hits, like “2/14” and “Berenstein" in the live sets. Ending their magical night in Milwaukee, Spencer and Jeffrey shared a unique moment with a young fan on stage. Bringing up a young boy on stage to kick off and count in one of their last songs, I Think I Like You, with Garrison’s drumsticks. The fans of The Band Camino have grown up with this band and they want to pass down that special feeling to the next generation. Be sure to stream all their songs from The Band CAMINO’s new EP Bruises, out now.
